Serving Youth AND Families too!
Young Leaders With Wings (YLWW) started as a mentor and advocacy school program in Prince George's County, Maryland that served 37 students in grades 4-6. As we listened to these “Young Leaders'' we realized that in order to better serve the children in this program, support and services would have to reach outside of the constraints of the school walls. With the whole child in mind, YLWW’s mission is to ensure that all families have what they need (i.e. - food, housing, safety, mental/emotional wellness, and educational opportunities) to provide a thriving environment for their children.
